Ask yourself a simple question:

Do you consider yourself as 'free'?

What does being free mean to you?

my-feet-my-freedom-886677-m

These questions really could have different meanings depending upon how you look at it. Most of us are not locked behind bars, we can go where we want, say what we want (to an extent) and believe what we want. So you would consider yourself free right?

What if I said we are a slave to society; we constantly look at society to justify our actions. We all go to school, get an 'education' come out, some go onto further study and some go straight into work. Others do have an idea and follow their dreams but this is the minority; the rest of us are a slave to the game. We must play along, because do we really have an option not too? Maybe the definition of a slave will bring more light to the subject:

Slave: A person who is the legal property of another and is forced to obey them. (Oxford Dictionaries)

Unfortunately there are people who are still slaves on this Earth and its sad how we can say we are moving forward when this is still prominent.

Yet; there is a new type of slave emerging, one owned by society, one who is said to be free; have freedom of speech, but yet some of us as individuals are still feeling frustrated at the end of the day because of disliking our jobs, or what ever it is we have to do to earn a living. So why can’t we just change jobs/careers or find alternative ways to survive? It's difficult because society makes it difficult, because society owns us and it’s so hard to break free from these chains.

Think! have your say.

I am going to put together a list of things that may end up completing your day. Whether it meaning motivation for the mornings, getting the most happiness out of your day or trying to turn around a rough day, these will help.

ALARM BELLS

when your alarm bell sounds get up straight away, don't put your head back on the pillow (resist the temptation) over time this will become habit and should become easier. However, if you really hate getting up in the mornings because of your line of work, the reality is you need to change careers (and yes there are plenty of things you could do, you just need to go do it.)

HYDRATE

I can't begin to express how important it is for us to keep hydrated, not only does dehydration lead to headaches, lack of concentration and dry lips it can really make you feel as though your day is a rough one. When hydrated we can make the most of every situation, as our minds are more focused leading to better results during our days; which could mean a more productive and enjoyable day.

GOALS

Set goals for yourself throughout your day, our minds strive for challenges, we need to feed our minds. Make sure you implement stimulating goals, maybe start to think about different things you could do apart from your daily job routines. Make it a goal to help another person, when you do help someone it can really change your perspective of how your days going.

LOVED ONES

For me seeing the people I love changes my day; don't come home with a negative aura, as these people are the ones who can change your day and help to give you what you have been striving for all day long (a peaceful, homely, atmosphere). A simple hug has the ability to destroy a lot of the bad experiences you may of had throughout your day.

FOOD

This one is a must if I am to have a good day, I love good food. If you got a nice meal to look forward to it really does put you in a happy mood (even better if you will be eating with family or friends). Cook yourself a nice meal, if you cannot cook (like me) teach yourself. Not only does a nice meal give you something to look forward to, freshly cooked food is healthy and will make you feel better. We are living in a busy world with busy schedules and its understandable that you might not always have time to cook every night, but you have to make time for yourself and loved ones, remember it is the little things that make our lives complete.
